Vacaville Senior Portraits

Welcome, Class of 2026!

It’s not about posing. It’s about personality.

Senior photo sessions you'll actually enjoy.

🕺🏾 💃🏻

You’ve made it to senior year. Now someone wants to take 117 photos of your face. You're not sure whether to be flattered or frightened. Maybe your mom chose this random photographer and you're worrying it's going to be stuffy and awkward, yet you're still supposed to "smile big!!"

I get it. So my approach is different. Your session is going to be like your favorite hoodie: comfy, relaxing, and fits just the way you like.

I'm gonna get to know you a little bit, get a feel for who you are and what would make you feel most authentic and at ease. Our shoot feels more like a hangout, chatting about things that interest you as I snap pics and hype you up in my unabashedly dorky way. It's not forced -- I'm legitimately stoked to see your unique spark coming out as we get into the groove.

The goal isn't a bunch of posed portraits, it's all the awesome details that come out of a session that brings out your true self. Not only are you gonna be proud to share the photos, but you're gonna look back on them in future years and smile fondly at how remarkable you were and are.

"I’ve never done a photo shoot before and I’m a bit shy in front of a camera. However, she was amazing and she made the whole thing so fun and way less awkward."

Creative locations that match your vibe perfectly? Yup.

Not having to put your fist under your chin like Napoleon Dynamite?

I mean, no promises, but... Okay, yeah.

For Parents

✅ You want photos that feel authentic and capture all the uniqueness that you're so proud of.

✅ You want a photographer who’s reliable, communicative, and doesn’t vanish post-shoot and resurface three weeks later like a naked mole rat with a gallery link.

✅ You want this to feel like a celebration, not a chore.

As a mom and high school teacher-turned photographer, I get how important this season is and how hard it can be to find a creative process that respects your teen’s personality and your timeline. I take a limited number of clients so every gallery gets my full attention. Nothing is outsourced. No rushed work. Just radiant, real images delivered with flair.

Senior portrait of white male student in letterman jacket in a garden, staring to the side with a stoic expression

She is incredibly professional and wanted to know who our son was as a person. She was enthusiastic, funny, and friendly and made him feel at ease. Lastly, her photographs are absolutely beautiful! She captured our son perfectly!!

- The W Family - Winters, CA

She is creative, easy to work with, and excellent at what she does. She has taken grad pics for our oldest 3 kids! We love that she makes it her mission to capture each person's unique personality. Highly recommend!!!

- The S Family - Dixon, CA

She made our senior photo session fun and easy, in a way that made the day feel natural, never forced. The proof is in the images. Monica has perfected her craft and I am grateful we got to work with her! If I could give more than ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, I would!

- The C Family - Vacaville, CA

I'm so happy she made our daughter comfortable and made her feel confident enough to enjoy herself, which really shows in the photos. She doesn't like taking pictures so this really shows a side of her that maybe she hasn't seen before.

- The B Family - Davis, CA

How It Works

🪩 Step 1: You reach out.

Tell me what you love, what you hate, what you’re hoping for, and what might make you awkward. I’ll take it all in and send you a quick questionnaire to hear your ideas to make it even more of a perfect fit. You don’t have to plan a thing -- I'm gonna take it and run with it.

🪩 Step 2: I cook it up.

I’ll guide location choices, help you narrow outfits (yes, you can bring that hat), and offer suggestions if you’re feeling stuck. You’ll get prep help and timelines without needing a spreadsheet.

🪩 Step 3: We shoot.

I’ll give you direction, prompts, hype, space, and whatever you need to relax and be yourself. We’ll keep it fun and low-pressure. There’s no right way to do it -- you just show up and I’ll handle the rest.

🪩 Step 4: You gasp.

Your gallery arrives more quickly than you expect (I couldn't resist. I obsessed over it). It’s beautifully edited, organized, and easy to download or order from. You’ll probably text your mom: “Ok but I kinda look cool??” She’ll say she told you so.
